After watching the progress of a loft conversion on Manor Avenue in Sale, on my way to and from work each day, I was confident that Jeff Philips had the necessary trade skills and resources to carry out the structural refurbishment of the Apex roof on my 1930s detached house. Carried out in compliance with Trafford MBC building regulations, and under my own professional eye as a Chartered Surveyor, the work was done to a high standard of workmanship and using temporary works with due regard for Health, Safety & Safe Access, Security and Protection of the people and property.
Jeff’s resourceful approach to providing structural and economic solutions to a high standard means that I had little hesitation in again asking him to carry out another piece of complicated roof structural repair involving supplementary support to a weakened roof purlin and split roof spar from within the roof space.
